No strollers, shopping carts or pets of any kind please.

Most vendors only accept cash. There will be cash machines located in the building and near by the building.

Need some help getting your purchases to the door for loading? Need help getting them loaded in your car at the loading area?

We will have Boy Scout Troop 356 …………. IN THE HOUSE!!!!

These nice young men will be wondering the floor willing to help you out. They are working for tips during the show trying to raise money for an upcoming trip to Washington D.C. Stop by their information table for help if you don’t see them and to find out more about their trip and why they are going.

Parking…………..

The fairgrounds will be very busy this weekend with many other events happening beside Ruffles & Rust. We suggest that you park in the parking lot off of 179th Street. It looks like it’s a long walk to building 604 but it’s not from this parking lot. Click HERE to view the map of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. We will have parking attedants to help direct you.

Food…………..

The fairgrounds will be providing concessions for this event on both Friday night and Saturday.

A Vintage Romance

Join us at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds for a spring soirée celebrating your romance of all things vintage and handcrafted!

On Friday night wear that dress you just knew you would wear again! Maybe you found a beautiful vintage outfit that you’ve just been itchin to wear some place. Maybe there is a style you have always wanted to wear but the grocery store didn’t seem like the best place to wear it.

Our Friday night First Choice shopping is the perfect time to Dust it off, bust it out and celebrate spring!

Tickets go on sale for $20 at Ruffles & Rust Square in Snohomish or online starting March 20th. We’ll only be selling 400 tickets at this price. We sold out quickly in October so don’t wait.

The evening of the event we will be selling tickets at the door for $30 person.

Included in this ticket price is Friday First Choice Shopping with a limited number of shoppers as well as you have the option of free entry again on Saturday morning without waiting in the lines.

We are sorry to announce that we will no longer be offering wine and apps at this event.

Shopping Tips:

In order to keep traffic flowing in the aisles, the Snohomish County Fire Marshal has asked that we have no strollers or shopping carts on the event floor. There will be stroller and shopping cart parking available right inside the entry doors.

This is sometimes a difficult event for children. Please keep an eye on your children at all times. Vendors may exercise the right to charge for all items broken, damaged or stained by unattended children.

Age 5 and up……..$3

Under age 5 ……… Free

No pets allowed. No pets in strollers, or pet carriers will be allowed in the building. All service dogs must have proper identification.

Most vendors are cash only. There will be ATM machines located in the building as well on the fairground property

We knew it was going to be hard to make the decision.. but WOW you all blew our socks off with entries!

We simply cannot believe the talent that we are surrounded by. With every single entry we received we thought it could not get better, and it kept getting better and better.

Spring has sprung at Ruffles and Rust.. we are going to the chapel!!

Here at Ruffles and Rust Square we know we are surrounded by some amazing talent. You don’t have to spend too long in the store to know what I’m talking about!!

How surprised were we when we opened up the latest copy of Coastal Living magazine to find one our own vendors Circle Creek Home featured!!!

John and Brenda are vendors here at Ruffles and Rust, their vintage inspired step stools are featured on the lower left corner of the right page. You can find the stools and much more here at the store. Congratulations John and Brenda!

The store also had a shout out in the current copy of Flea Market Style Magazine.  We are huge fans of this publication and are honored to get a mention!

Then just when we think it can’t get much better..IT DOES!! The latest issue of Where Women Cook showed up this week and who do we see, not one but THREE of our Ruffles and Rust peeps featured.. it’s like Christmas all over again!

Our friend’s Elaine Tolson (aka Boho Retreats) and Heather Scholten (aka Farmgirl Gourmet) were featured in a beautiful spread about a day fit for a queen held at Elaine’s home in the country.  The images were photographed by Amber Strehle (aka Tres Birds Photography).  Well done and bravo you all!

Well there were a couple changes…………………………………..

Ruffles & Rust Square would like to welcome Gina Hagen of The Well Dressed Home. 

Gina has just recently closed her fabulous store at Bothell County Village so she can devote more time to her creative soul and her spaces at R&R Square and Haystack Antiques in Bellevue. We are so excited to have her in the Square!

On a sad note………. Miss Melaine of My Sweet Savannah along with Miss Lisa of Seaworthy Home decided to leave Ruffles & Rust Square. As you probably already know they both have lots of exciting things happening in their lives right now. They will be very missed at the Square but you can still see them at the shows. Please visit their blogs when you have a chance to see what fun things they are working on. Congratulations to both of them!

It’s time! We’re starting to plan for the spring show.  The dates are May 11th & 12th

With all the planning comes the design of the poster. 

This time Ruffles & Rust Square is looking for the next great artist!  We’re calling on all you creative types to help us with the spring poster design. Photography, painting, mixed media………… we don’t care! Any kind of art is acceptable.

That’s right! Submit your Ruffles & Rust Vintage Market to Inspire design and theme to us. If your design is chosen, your artwork will be everywhere we can submit it, post it, and hand it out!

2011 has been an exciting year for us at Ruffles & Rust Square.

We would like to thank you for your support this last year with Ruffles & Rust Vintage Market events at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds and the opening of the new store Ruffles & Rust Square in Historic Downtown Snohomish this last March. We can’t do it without you! The calendar for 2012 is already starting to fill up with events, shows, and wine walks. 

Ruffles & Rust Square will open on Monday December 26^th at 11am with markdowns!  Most all of our vendors at the store have marked items down. 10-40% off.
